The deep-water terminals of the Cuxhaven PORT operator, Cuxport, are situated in a strategic location ideal for international transport routes: directly on the busy Elbe Estuary, close to the Kiel Canal and not far from the Weser estuary.
With four berths as well as a water depth of up to 15.8 metres Cuxport serves a network of RoRo liner services and offers optimum conditions for the transhipment of numerous types of goods.
The Cuxport Terminal is called at on a daily basis by RoRo liner services. The route network covers Great Britain, Russia, Scandinavia, the Baltic States and East Mediterranean.
Furthermore the multipurpose terminal is called at by deep-sea-vessels. This is complemented by LoLo services for containers, forestry products and project cargoes, as well as storage and logistic solutions.
More than 250,000 new vehicles produced by a large number of well-known manufacturers are shipped to England and Scandinavia each year, with numbers of rising.
